Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 and Combat Wings: The Great Battles of WWII dated

Combat Wings: The Great Battles of World War II is due out on February 10, and looks to bring the fast-paced dogfights of the Second World War to consoles and PCs in time for Valentine’s day. Beyond working with traditional controllers, Combat Wings also has Move support, allowing players to physically steer their planes with motion control. It doesn’t feature Kinect support, though, so you’re not going to be able to stand in your living room, arms out, pretending to be an airplane. Sorry, everyone.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is a due out on March 16 in Europe and March 20 in the US. While we weren’t fans of the first game, calling it “an exercise in rage control” and criticizing the AI, we enjoyed the E3 demo we saw of the sequel a few months back. Beyond fixing many of the issues we complained about when we played through the first game, it’s also running on the CRYengine3, which means it’s likely going to look a good deal better than the first. We just wish it had Move support, too, since that would definitely make it stand out.

If you’re interested in either of these games check back closer to release and we’ll be sure to let you know if they live up to your expectations, or if they end up falling short and crashing into the ground, dragging through the dirt and leaving a fiery trail of disaster behind them.
