To get the Stone Hatchet in GTA Online, you’ll need to find the secret location that it’s been buried in through a strange treasure hunt around San Andreas. While Rockstar originally added this unique tomahawk GTA Online treasure hunt back in 2018 to cross-promote the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, it is still obtainable. Unlike a regular treasure hunt, you don’t have any riddles to solve or clues to find – instead there are five bounty targets for you to capture or kill. Deal with them appropriately and the GTA Online stone hatchet location will be revealed as your reward.

As an additional bonus, if you beat the challenge that unlocks in the game when you find it you’ll add GTA$250,000 to your online account and make this melee weapon available in Red Dead Redemption 2. How to get the GTA Online Stone Hatchet

After logging in to GTA Online, Maude will text you with five random locations for various bounty targets, each of which has a general radius in which you’ll need to find and kill (or capture) them. Following that, she’ll send you the coordinates for the Stone Hatchet, which is found in a lockbox in a randomised location, similar to how players found the Revolver last year. Job done!

With the hatchet unlocked, getting 25 kills with it to receive $250,000 in-game dollars, and unlock this exclusive weapon for those who play Red Dead Redemption 2, so this is definitely a secret worth uncovering.
