It’s been a long, winding road for Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Once a playboy bedding ladies all over Italy, he was violently pushed into the family business of righteous/sneaky murder. After avenging the wrongful executions of his father and brothers, Ezio’s travels had only begun, as he battled a corrupt Pope’s children while meeting historical figures like Machiavelli and da Vinci. And then there’s that whole thing about the secret of the creation of humanity. All that leads Ezio to his most recent (last?) adventure on Constantinople, as the video explains.
After the brief preamble, we get a lengthy look at not just Ezio killing his way through the ancient metropolis, we see his personal mission expand too. We even get visions of predecessor Altier that takes place after his final battle in the first Assassin’s Creed. This trailer expertly reminded us that even with the other huge games coming out in the next few weeks, only a fool would ignore an assassin.
