Daniel Craig says the next Bond movie wont be a two-parter

Daniel Craig has categorically ruled out the possibility of starring in a two-part James Bond adventure.

Rumours surfaced that screenwriter John Logan was working on a two-part outing to cover Bonds 24 and 25 , but Craig denied that was the plan in a video interview with German site Filmstarts (opens in new tab) .

Asked if 007’s next adventure would be a two-parter, Craig responded: “No, I don’t know where that’s come from.

“It’s impossible to do a two-parter. I heard that, that someone was talking about that we’re doing a two-parter, but that’s the first I’ve heard about it.

“We can only do them one at a time. They take six months to shoot. It’s [ impossible ].

“You can’t write one movie thinking about the next, so all we’re trying to do at the moment is get the next one sorted out, and that will stand alone, and if I’m able I’ll do another one after that.”

is in UK cinemas now, and opens in the US on 9 November 2012.
