The number of minds melted by Charlie Brooker’s genre-spinning UK series, Black Mirror, has risen considerably since the first two seasons arrived on Netflix. The anthology show somewhat defies categorisation, but to give you the gist: it’s a takedown of contemporary society set in a not-too-distant future wherein technology has divided mankind.
Sound good? More episodes are reportedly heading into production, with Radio Times saying that Netflix now plans to finance a new season of the series. According to the site’s sources “the streaming giant is understood to have agreed terms with Brooker and his independent production company House of Tomorrow to make ‘multiple episodes’ of the dystopian drama.”
Brooker is currently scribbling away on those new episodes, set to delve deeper into the dystopian future, with an eye to the show landing exclusively on Netflix. If you’ve not already devoured the first two seasons, now’s the time to start.
