We’ve got our review in progress of Mafia 3 (opens in new tab) arriving this afternoon – for a teaser of some thoughts, head to Dave Houghton’s Twitter (opens in new tab) account – but this snippet of gameplay so far suggests that all is not well in New Bordeaux.
This video from CrowbCat (opens in new tab) has all been recorded on PC so it’s unclear whether these bugs are replicated on consoles but an ultra fast day/night cycle, quicksand masquerading as concrete and some serious pop-in are all in dire need of a patch. There’s the old open world favourites of falling through the floor and soaring into the sky too. I’m sure an update is on the way. Have some bonus pop-in below…
