Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation DLC goes live with extra undead

After spending a good six weeks teasing ‘Annihilation,’ the third map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops, Treyarch is finally ready to let players check out the mad collection of new maps for themselves. The pack’s four new maps – together with one new Zombies arena – continue Treyarch’s theme of injecting ’60s weirdness into CoD via Black Ops, with sci-fi paranoia and Cuban mini-golfing joining previous DLC episodes’ zombie-themed offerings. Here’s a launch trailer highlighting Shangri-La, the new Zombies map.

In addition to Shangri-La, the pack includes maps set in Area 51, a drive-in theatre, Soviet missile silo and 18 Cuban links. The pack is available on Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 MSP or on the PlayStation Network, Steam and the Activision Store for $14.99.
