Fresh off the success of December’s Star Wars: Rogue One (opens in new tab), it seems we could be getting December Star Wars movies three years in a row with 2017’s Star Wars 8 (opens in new tab) and now 2018’s untitled Han Solo movie (opens in new tab)
According to Making Star Wars (opens in new tab), the Han Solo movie, originally thought to be released May 25, 2018, may be pushed back to December to give moviegoers another festive treat (no, not the Star Wars Christmas Special) .
The rumoured date is December 13, 2018 but that’s not been verified. Watch this space.
The Han Solo movie (which has been confirmed to include the fuzzball Chewie (opens in new tab) and rumoured to reveal just how Han got his hands on the Millennium Falcon (opens in new tab)) of course, has to shoot first.
Starring Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover and Emilia Clarke, the as-yet-untitled Young Han Solo spin off is scheduled to be released in 2018.
